ANM has new chief executive
well known North-east businessman Patrick Machray OBE has accepted the role of chief executive officer (CEO) of Thainstone based ANM Group.
Former CEO, Alan Craig, has left the business to pursue other opportunities.
ANM Group chairman, John McIntosh, said: “We recognise the business, and indeed the industry, is operating in an extremely challenging environment and have appointed Mr Machray in this role to guide us through this demanding period.”
Mr Machray has held a number of high profile senior positions including chief executive of independent chartered accountants and business advisors, Johnston Carmichael, and chairman of Scottish Enterprise Grampian. He will continue to serve as chairman of the Scottish Agricultural College’s finance and general purposes committee.
Mr Machray said: “As someone with a long-standing association with ANM Group and indeed the agricultural industry, I am honoured by the Board’s support.
“I firmly believe the business has an exceptionally bright future.”
