Local MSP Dennis Robertson was quizzed by the Westhill Social Studies Group after accepting an invitation from Mrs Grace Marshall.

The Aberdeenshire West MSP gave an overview about ‘A day in the life of an MSP’ and updated the group on how his guide dog ‘Mr Q’ has become the Scottish Parliament’s favourite pet.

Mr Roberston said: “I was delighted to answer the many questions from the group and to give them an insight of my life; it has been a very exciting time since I have been elected to represent Aberdeenshire West at the Scottish Parliament.

It is important for local groups to be given the opportunity to ask questions to parliamentarians and I had many to answer, from the Euro to mobility issues at Holyrood.”
