Strutt & Parker land agent James Craig presented Hill of Banchory P6 pupil Emily Finch with a £25 book token last week.

Emily was runner up in the property company’s annual Christmas card competition, where primary schools from all over Britain take part. Strutt & Parker donate a £1 for every entry they receive to the Youth UK charity.

Every year Strutt & Parker holds a Christmas card competition for children aged between 5 and 12 years.

All money raised is donated to UK Youth and, to date, they have raised £21,500 through the competition.

This year, the company were hoping to exceed the £3,000 they raised last year.

UK Youth (www.ukyouth.org) is committed to enhancing the lives of young people throughout the UK, through youth work and informal education. Altogether the network includes 7,000 youth groups, 40,000 youth workers and over 750,000 young people.

Strutt & Parker are using the winning design on its 2012 corporate Christmas card and they also donate £500 to the winner’s school.
