New company HQ in Westhill

oil and gas operator Fairfield Energy has invested in a new headquarters in Westhill for its North Sea operations.

Fairfield has signed a 10-year lease on a new 25,000 square feet building in Arnhall Business Park, and has relocated more than 180 employees and contractors to the new office.

As part of the move, the majority of office furniture from Fairfield’s previous base in Kirkhill, Aberdeen has been donated to several local charities, including schools, community groups and local projects.

The company has a growing portfolio of interests in the North Sea and in July the first development well at the Clipper South gas field was successfully drilled and completed using multi-fracturing techniques. First gas production from Clipper South was achieved on 11th August 2012.

Ian Sharp from Fairfield Energy said the company’s move to Westhill provides a modern base for its north-east employees but also room for future growth as the company continues its recruitment drive in support of its business plans.
