Teens set for festive finale

This Friday (21st December), sees the popular Woodend Barn venue in Banchory being taken over by local teenagers to round off 2012 with a bang.

After the success of the first Teenage Takeover last June it’s back for round two - bigger and better than before.

The concert was organised by Youth Industries with support from Woodend Barn – we give young people the opportunity to take over the building and learn all the skills involved in putting on an arts event.

Youth Industries members Alex Brown, Lana Redpath and Isla Elliott have taken the lead in putting on this show for audiences in the Banchory area, so they can showcase some of the young talent in the area.

Headlining the gig are Cats in Capes – a band originally from Glasgow but now living in Aberdeen.

They are supported by local Aberdeenshire bands and solo artists Patrycja Olszweka, Adam Davies, Lizzie Thomson, Raw Obsession and Hiatus.

Tickets for the show are just £5.50 or £4.50 for concessions and are available in advance or on the door.

Visit www.woodendbarn.co.uk to book tickets ina advance.
