Alford man Duncan Davidson is said to have bought the winning ticket at Alford's Keystore.

Alford man Duncan Davidson is said to have bought the winning ticket at Alford's Keystore.

It appears that the Donside village of Alford has scooped another lottery win.

Although Camelot have yet to confirm the news, sources in Alford say that local couple Duncan and Sheila Davidson were the only winners of Saturday’s £4.5 million lottery jackpot.

The win comes under two years after another couple, Robert and Susan McIntosh, celebrated a £4.4 million win in April 2010.

Camelot said they could not comment on the reported win but we understand that Mr and Mrs Davidson are due to make an announcement later today.
