Ball benefits all round in Aboyne

The ball raised money for two local good causes

The ball raised money for two local good causes

TWO local charities, Tarland Area First Responders and the Friends of Allachburn, have each received £1500 from the organisers of the Aboyne Summer Charity Ball.

The event was organised by a group of local residents with the intention of giving the people of Aboyne an excuse to get dressed up and have some fun whilst aiding local charities.

The Aboyne Summer Charity Ball commitee say they received ‘fantastic support’ from the local community and local businesses, and additional sponsorship from TAQA Bratani Limited and Sharecat Solutions.

The committee thanked everyone who supported the evening, the people of Aboyne for their generosity and the Tarland Area First Responders for their much needed help on the night.

Planning for next year’s event has already started and they are looking forward to making it another huge success.

The Tarland Area First Responders are a group of volunteers who undertake training to give life saving treatment to those in the local community who are critically ill or injured prior to ambulance arrival and Friends of Allachburn are a committee of local people whose aim is to make the lives of the residents of Allachburn Care Home that little bit more comfortable.
