Banchory Heritage Society say ‘Ewe shouldn’t miss this!’

The last meeting of the season for Banchory Heritage Society members is ‘An Evening with Anne Lamb’ and will take place on Monday, March 25, in the St Ternan Episcopal church hall.

idea of the very popular ‘An Evening with......’ format is to allow the speaker to talk about more than one of their interests or to add some background as to how they got to be interested in their speciality. Doors open at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start.

Anne has been convenor of the Society for a few years and hopes to be able to hand over leadership to someone at the start of next season.

On the 25th, members will be able to hear about such varied subjects as calligraphy, medieval cookery, language, prehistoric Scotland and canals. Visitors and prospective members will be most welcome and refreshments will be served.

For anyone interested in local history, genealogy or local culture, membership of the Society is still just £5 for full membership and £3 for concessions. For more information about Monday’s meeting or the Society, email BanchoryHeritage@aol.com or call 01330 822105
