The Duchess of Cornwall was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Mrs Vera Cormack

The Duchess of Cornwall paid a private visit to the Upper Deeside Art Society’s popular annual exhibition in the Victoria Hall, Ballater.

The Duchess, who is an Honorary Member of the Society and takes a very keen interest in the work of the artists, met and chatted to all the exhibitors present.

This year she also saw on display two watercolour paintings by His Royal Highness Prince Charles, The Duke of Rothesay, which he kindly loaned to The Upper Deeside Art Society for inclusion in their exhibition this year.

Mrs Vera Cormack from Strathdon, who at 91 years old is the Society’s oldest exhibiting member, presented the Duchess with a bouquet at the private visit on August 24.
