Giant heads at castle.

Three giant heads are to be erected in the grounds of Drum Castle.

The Deeside castle is to be one of only ten sites across the country to be taking parts in an exclusive arts project.

As part of the Year of Natural Scotland 2013, the site will be taking part in the interactive project.

The National Trust property will be hosting a series of outdoor art workshops and will be marking its reopening on March 29 with the unveiling of a new exhibit displaying some larger than life figures.

The Giants in the Forest exhibit is made up of three giant heads made from natural materials.

Plants and moss will be rigged on to trees on the Drumhill Trail for visitors to see.

For anyone looking for some Easter fun, the castle will also be hosting an Easter egg trail from Saturday March 30 to April 1.
