Visitors welcome to Strathdon garden

STRATHDON residents Stephen Campbell and Susan Macintosh from Hillockhead, will open their garden for the third year through the Scotland's Gardens Scheme on Saturday ( July 3).

The garden is set against the stunning backdrop of Morven at an altitude of 1300 feet, where wilderness meets cultivation. Wildflower areas, herbaceous borders and organic fruit and vegetables are punctuated by numerous sit-ooteries and quiet corners.

There will be homemade teas and a plant stall.

Follow the yellow signs from Donside and Deeside, alternatively see www.gardensofscotland.org for directions.

The Scotland's Gardens Scheme encourages people to open their gardens to raise money for charity and 60% of the takings go to SGS's charities and 40% to the gardener's charity of choice which in this case is the RNLI.
