Jobstoday have opened their first national Virtual Careers Fair today (September 17) enabling candidates to connect with recruiters and apply for advertised vacancies specifically in the health care and customer service & sales sectors.

The Virtual Careers Fair is a free online portal where employers will be showcasing their business and vacancies to relevant candidates in a real time environment. Job seekers can browse the fair by location to find both large, blue-chip companies and smaller, local organisations recruiting in their area, and apply for advertised vacancies.

During the fair, candidates can also take advantage of online chat technology to speak to employers directly to seek the latest advice and find out more about what the vacancies involve before making their application.

Jobstoday is an online recruitment platform and part of Johnston Press plc, one of the UK’s leading publishers of local newspapers and internet sites.

Promotions of the fair have appeared not only on Jobstoday.co.uk, but also in over 200 Johnston Press publications, in print and online, to ensure that a large number of high quality employers from across the UK are exhibiting at the fair.
