Hilton 4 Glendale 0

HILTON came out on top with a four goal victory over Glendale in the final of the Dickie Trophy at Milton Park, Crathes.
Glendale were forced to make a change before the game started as Stuart Hay was injured in the warm up. The game kicked off with the sun shining and the pitch in perfect condition.

Hilton went on the attack from the kick off and Glendale keeper Walker had to look lively when Clayton rounded a defender and fired in a shot.

The turning point of the match came after only thirteen minutes when Glendale's keeper Walker was red carded for making a save outside his box.

Hilton went ahead in twenty eight minutes after Sinclair crossed for Clayton to net from close range.
Then on the hour mark Sinclair scored the goal of the game when his forty-yard drive flew into the net giving Glendale's substitute keeper no chance.

Glendale kept trying to get back into the game but could not get past the blue shirts of Hilton's defence.
Hilton went three up in seventy six minutes when Merchant scored from the edge of the box before Shirreffs rounded off the scoring three minutes later.

With minutes to go Hilton's Main was sent off for a tackle on Glendale's Bissett.
