Banchory Trampoline and Double mini club continued their run of competition success at Scotland’s national Championships.
Banchory hosted the Scottish Double mini Championships and the Club had some great results.
H under 15 1st Ailsa Fyfe;H over 15 1st and H grade Scottish Champion Alanna Beattie;E under 15 3rd Pacha Ball; National C under 15 Boys 1st Graham Ross, 3rd Lewis Byers;National C under 15 girls 2nd Katie Forbes;National C over 15 boys 1st Iain Ross;FIG B over 15 male 1st Craig Fyfe and 2nd Ruaraidh Simpson;FIG B Scottish Champion Craig Fyfe.
Four members of the club were then chosen to represent Scotland at this year’s Home Nations competition against England and Wales.
All bounced extremely well at this event and picked up medals.
Craig Fyfe and Ruaraidh Simpson were first and Home Nations Champions at synchronised trampolining in the men’s event. Ruaraidh was also third in the individual trampoline junior boys. Iain and Graham Ross came third in junior boys synchro event.
Last weekend success continued for Craig and Ruaraidh as they both won their grade at the Trampoline Scottish Championships. Ruaraidh 1st in under 17 boys National C category and Craig was first in the National C over 19 mens category. Craig was the highest placed National C male and became Scottish Champion.
Also medalling at this event was Charlotte Clarke who was third in the F grade under 15 event. Banchory had 15 qualifiers for the Scottish Championships with 11 competing on the day. Although other medals were not won, there were some very good performances from all.
The club is starting a new trampoline class on a Saturday at 1pm specifically for Academy pupils, anyone interested in this, or any of the other classes should contact John Wills on firstname.lastname@example.org
