Glassel Hall was the venue for a Scottish Night of Music to raise funds for the Help Mramba School Trust in Tanzania. The evening was a success owing to the talents and professionalism of Paul Anderson and friends, who entertained around 100 people to a fantastic evening of Scottish music and song. The evening raised just over £1500.
Mramba Trust Chairman, Alan Melrose, said: “The proceeds will go a long way to improve education and the quality of life for the students in the school.” The Trust would like to thank Paul and friends, all who came to the evening and supplied raffle prizes. The Trust have a programme of fundraising events to support the primary school, including a walking challenge through the Lairig Ghru from Rothiemurchas to Linn o’ Dee.
