Stuart Blair Donaldson, MP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine, visited Tarland Post Office recently to see how preparations were going in the build-up to Christmas – the busiest time of year for Post Office branches across the UK.
Tarland Post Office which is appropriately located within a toy store, was thrilled by the festive visit.
Postmaster, Lucy Taylor, said: “Christmas is our busiest time of the year, I’m delighted that Stuart took time out from his busy schedule to support us and recognise the valuable service we provide.”
Mr Donaldson said: “It was fantastic to meet Lucy at Tarland Post Office, she provides such a valuable service to the local community here in Tarland.
“I was so impressed by her dedication and hard work.”
