A public consultation event is to be held at the Fife Arms Hotel, Braemar on Saturday 4 July, where plans will be outlined to transform the historic Royal Deeside landmark into an outstanding destination and cultural hub.
In developing its plans for the hotel, Highlands Hospitality Limited has been working with a creative and experienced team of professionals, including local Crathie architect Ben Addy.
The consultation event will begin at 4pm on Saturday – representative groups and individuals are invited, as well as the general public.
Highlands Hospitality Ltd was established by Iwan and Manuela Wirth, the founders and Presidents of Hauser & Wirth, an international gallery devoted to contemporary and modern art. The gallery now operates in Zurich, London, New York and Somerset, and will open in Los Angeles in early 2016.
Iwan and Manuela Wirth have a long-established affinity with Scotland and have been active in the Deeside community since they and their family established a home in the area.
