Snow and ice have caused a spate of crashes and a number of road closures across Deeside and Donside this morning.
Disruptions to school transport have been reported, whilst some schools will open at 10am to allow for pupils and staff to travel safely.
A crash on the B979 Netherley to Maryculter road at the Mill on Mondquich has caused congestion, although no injuries have been reported.
Icy conditions last night caused a car to flip on to its side on the North Deeside Road between Banchory and Crathes, leaving a woman trapped in the vehicle at around 7.10pm.
In Donside this morning the A941 Dufftown to Rhynie road has been closed due to bad weather, whilst the Ballater to Corgarff road (A939) is also shut.
The B976 Crathie to Gairnshiel road and the Lumsden to Cabrach road (B9002), between the A947 and A941 are closed due to drifting snow.
The B974 is closed between Banchory and Fettercairn, also due to adverse weather conditions.
Police Scotland have advised motorists to travel with care.
