A pharmacy in Westhill launched a range of advanced services last week, with a long-time cutomer cutting the ribbon on its official opening.
David White was the highly-valued customer chosen to do the honours for Lloyds Pharmacy’s Westhill branch, and he was cheered on by pharmacy manager Claire Wood, and area manager Paul Clelland.
The store has been transformed as part of a large-scale roll-out across the UK, which will now allow Westhill residents to benefit from enhanced services for a range of conditions, with a particular emphasis on skin health and pain management.
Claire said: “We’re excited by our transformation - we want our new store to become the destination of choice for customers looking for expert health advice.
“Our knowledgeable 10-strong team will be on hand to provide customers with individual expertise on skin health, helping those with skin conditions to effectively manage their condition with product selection support and application techniques.”
Customers can now get a quick and detailed summary of their skin type via an innovative skin analyser which uses the latest technology to test skin elasticity and hydration.
The community pharmacy is the latest of more than 350 stores to complete the transformation.
It has also relocated from Unit 3, to the newly-built and larger Unit 26, at the Westhill Shopping Centre.
