After a busy and eventful year, Woodend Barn in Banchory is looking forward to a break over Christmas and Hogmanay before returning to focus on a new year ahead.
In a year that’s seen sell-out shows from Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain; Mcgoldrick, McCusker and Doyle; Duncan Chisholm; Kidnapped and even the Nutcracker screened live from the Royal Opera House last week, there’s been lots for them to look back on.
Nicola Henderson, Director of Woodend Barn was feeling particularly festive.
She said: “2012 has been a really great year for Woodend Barn and the groups we work with.
“I’d like to wish a Merry Christmas to all our customers for their continued support and our wonderful group of volunteers, without whom none of our events would happen.
“We’re pleased to finish on a high and are looking forward to another busy year in 2013 with a special Burns Night celebration and host of great events throughout the year, including a literature and music festival in May.”
Woodend Barn is closed from 22nd December until 6th January inclusive and information on all their upcoming events can be found at www.woodendbarn.co.uk
